Abundance springs from community in this morning’s musical selections. Whether it be Haydn and Mozart of the First Viennese School, the Spanish nationalists and pupils of Felipe Pedrell Albeniz, Granados, and Falla, or Ragtime pioneers Scott Joplin and Louis Chauvin in collaboration, these works are all the fruits of a common set of artistic ideals and a shared sense of musical aesthetics.
